Day 16 of the 45 Day Paleo Challenge
I’m having trouble crawling out of bed in the mornings. Could be the late nights and early morning combos. But even when I went to bed a few hours earlier the other night… woke up still ready to crawl back under the covers.
I worked out this morning. I borrowed my Tuesday strength training exercises from my ladies at Roller Derby Athletics: Free 8-minute Method. Their 5 day/week exercises are awesome. I’m going to take the 5 days and split over the next 5 weeks. I did workout #1 this morning — next Tuesday I’ll do workout #2 — and so on. This is NOT how their program is designed — but I LOVE their programs and wanted to incorporate it into my new routine. Check ’em out on Facebook too: Roller Derby Athletics.
Breakfast: can of mandarin oranges
Snack: my stomach lining and samples @ Costco
Lunch: Large Pomegrante Paradise from Jamba Juice — all fruit, little juice, no dairy base.
Snack: none — still full from Jamba Juice
Dinner: 2.5 Aidell brand chicken sausages. I tried Basil/Garlic — they were ok — maybe better IN a dish rather than alone. But the Pineapple and Bacon ones were DELISH!! Seriously, yum. I think I’m going to buy stock in them. Oh and I had sliced red and yellow bell peppers on the side.
Snack: small breaded chicken breast marinaded in hot sauce.
Ok, sooooo remember when I said that I was excited to start week 3. I think I lied. I’m really feeling more like this:
I’m feeling tired; physically, emotionally, mentally. Blah.
