Day 13 of the 45 Day Paleo Challenge

Almost 2 weeks!! Seriously, if someone would let me lick their carb-laden food; I’d be very much appreciative.

I had intentions of working out this morning; didn’t happen. I laid low all day after being woken up out of a dead sleep at 1:43am with the worst stomach-ache and nausea I’ve had in a long time. I wasn’t sure what was causing it; was I so hungry my stomach hurt? Was it a poo? Did I have a headache so bad I was nauseous? Maybe it was that I needed to puke. Oh, God — No please not vomiting; I’d  rather have nearly anything else except for puking. I pulled out every trick in the book and avoided puking — and thankfully something worked — I fell back asleep for a few more hours and woke up to a wretched headache. The rest of the day was cuddling with the kids and watching movies.

I weighed-in this morning!! We are down 2.4lbs and 4.75inches overall!! WOOHOO!!! Progress!!

Breakfast: (cheated) — I had a sliver of Irish Soda Bread.
(bout the size of my smart phone)
(and only as thick as a penny)

Snack: handful of cashews
Lunch: Creamy Chicken and Tomato Soup
Snack/Dinner: I tried a Creamy Vanilla Protein Shake from a company that I wish to remain nameless at this time (in case it sucks or gives me an allergic reaction — don’t want to blast a company without a fair trial). I added blueberries, strawberries, coconut water, ice, and raw honey. It was pretty good — super filling I actually couldn’t finish the whole thing.
Snacks: I also snacked on strips of burnt bacon throughout the day when I felt I needed to be chewing on something.
